Brent Pyle-Fitness Director, ACSM-CPT

I grew up in Hartley Iowa, where I learned hard work from helping my friends on their farms. In high school I developed my passion for exercise as I was a four-sport athlete playing football, basketball, baseball and ran track. In college I continued playing baseball for the UNI club team. In 2010 I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. I have been in the personal training business for seven years. Over those seven years the most important thing that I’ve learned is that I love my job. There’s nothing more fulfilling then watching a client grow and progress over time training with them. Learning to adapt to each individual client has developed my vast knowledge of training individuals with special needs to training people with major health risks. I am very passionate about encouraging members to challenge themselves and strive for more. There is nothing I enjoy more than watching hard work and determination pay off. I enjoy being with family and friends, fishing, biking, and attending sporting events. I’m always eager to help, willing to listen and motivate you to develop a healthier you!

As a person who has had arthritis for more than 30 years I know how important it is to be able to have exercise options available for everyone to be able to stay active. In the past two years I have begun to working closely with the Omaha Triathlon and as a sponsor, bringing triathlon training to PLF for both adults and children. Having worked on my Masters in Fitness Wellness Management at UNO, I was introduced to exercise research and I am always encouraged by the strides being made in science behind the exercises for everyone’s ADLs, activities of daily living. Exercise and healthy life styles need to be available to people of all ages and conditions.
