Neal Huston

Neal has been with Prairie Life Fitness since 1987, starting in Nebraska and moving to Kansas as General Manager, opening and managing centers in both Overland Park and Olathe. He and his wife have three kids who all participate on various sports teams. Neal helps coach his son's basketball team. He loves working out, biking, playing basketball or racquetball nearly every day. His favorite part of being at Prairie Life Fitness is to be around all the great people, members and staff alike.

Kevin Walker, Assistant Fitness Director

Kevin graduated from Drury University in Springfield, MO. He has been a personal trainer for over 20 years and has owned 3 different health and personal training clubs over the past 12 years in Springfield MO. In 1996 he won the Mr. Missouri bodybuilding championship after many years of focusing on exercises and techniques that he uses with his clients to this day. Kevin trained the 2002 EAS Body for Life Grand Champion Jerry Braam for the best body transformation in 12 weeks in the nation. Kevin won the award of best personal trainer, best health club and best nutrition bar (which included his own private label line of supplements) in Springfield, MO. He is currently certified by ACSM and has had certifications with the ISSA, Parillo performance, and the College of Wellness.

Nathan Cronister, Assistant Fitness Director

Nathan has been involved in sports since he could walk. He played both basketball and baseball, but his true passion is football. He played football at Butler County Community college before transferring to the University of Kansas where he studied Exercise Science. Nathan has worked in many different career fields but has found that nothing brings him as much joy as helping a client achieve their fitness goals and improve their self-confidence. He excels at finding a person’s comfort level and exceeding it in the proper way to challenge and push them towards their ultimate fitness goal. Nathan received his certifications as a Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He started training at Prairie Life Fitness in June of 2015. He loves a challenge and will accept any and all clients.

Jennifer Schroeder

Jennifer started working at Prairie Life Fitness in May of 2015. She has always had a love for sports and fitness. Growing up Jennifer was involved in soccer, basketball, volleyball and softball. It was not until high school that she found her true passion in weight training. Jennifer graduated from Wellspring School of Allied Health as a certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She wants to share her knowledge of good nutrition and excitement for fitness with others. Jennifer is eager to challenge all her clients to reach their fitness goals.

Desiree Bunker

Desiree grew up in Western Kansas and attended Fort Hays State University with a bachelor’s emphasis in Exercise Physiology. She moved to Overland Park in 2013 and attended Wellspring School of Allied Health’s Personal Training program when she obtained double certifications as a Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). After completion, she also enrolled in Wellspring’s Nutrition and Wellness Coaching program with double certifications as a Nutrition Coach and Wellness Coach through the National Association for Fitness Certifications (NAFC). In her free time, she enjoys playing recreational sports such as volleyball and softball, taking yoga classes, or taking her dog for walks. She strives from her Corrective Exercise certification to focus on proper form and technique. She writes each program for her clients with their goals in mind and pushes them to excel. She believes taking care of your body through exercise and nutrition is the best way to live a happy, healthy and fulfilling life.

Troy Frazier

Troy received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska in 1994. After graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy. Troy is a member and Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT). He most enjoys family time. He loves sports, as well as running, biking and cross-training. Let Troy help you help yourself.

Dave Crigger

Dave has over 20 years experience in the Fitness Industry with 10 years as a N.P.C. Masters Body Building competitor. (Titles include: 1988 KS Master Division 4th place, 1995 Central States Masters 2nd place, 1995 Central States Heavyweight Open Class 5th place, MO Masters Bodybuilding Champ 2003). Dave completed his CPT certification in July of 2002. He also has his NSSA certification. Dave likes to train new members, mature adults, and advanced trainers in high-intensity training.

Casey Hildinger

Casey has been involved in the fitness industry since 2001. Originally a certified Master of Fitness Trainer for the U.S. Army, he helped develop fitness routines for soldiers. From there, he attended Fort Hays State University, while receiving his personal training certification through A.C.E. He has been with Prairie Life since 2008. During that time he has worked with athletes, youth, weight loss, and more. Most recently Casey has started successfully competing as an N.P.C. Bodybuilding competitor. Casey believes that success comes from efficiency and consistency no matter what your goal is.
