FALL YOUTH PROGRAM DATES

Here are the dates to know for the PLF Fall Youth Program: Monday, August 6th- Information will be online. Tuesday, August 14th- Registration starts at 12:01 am. Monday, August 27th- Fall Session starts.

Annual Floor Refinishing Schedule

The following areas will be closed for floor re-surfacing throughout the month of August: RACQUETBALL COURTS: Closed Saturday, August 18th at 5AM- They will re-open Saturday, August 25th at 5AM. LARGE GYM: Closed Saturday, August 18th at 1PM - Gym will re-open Saturday, August 25th at 5AM. Gym and courts at our Q Street location will be open. STUDIO A: Closed Friday, August 17th at 11AM- It will re-open Saturday, August 25th at 5AM. Cycling classes and Studio B classes will be held as scheduled. Some of our H.I.I.T. and Bootcamps workouts will be offered outdoors - weather permitting. Look for posted schedules. Please check the website for Group Fitness Classes available to members at our Midtown and Q Street Locations.

Indoor Pool Closing

We will be doing a deep clean to the indoor pool the week of August 12th. Draining will begin August 12th after the water fitness classes and the pool will be closed until Monday the 20th. All water fitness classes will be held outside weather permitting. Any questions contact the aquatics director. We appreciate your patience.

Adult swim Lessons

Two levels offered: Basics-Help you become more comfortable in the water and with breath control. Start with the basic stroke techniques. Improving Skills-Focus on improving skills in the 4 main stokes as well as flip-turns. Registration starts August 14th Class begins Wednesday August 29th- October 17th 30 minute classes Red Cross Certified Free for 24 Month agreement members! Look for it under youth registration.

NEW MULTI-HIP MACHINE IN THE FITNESS CENTER

This new strength training machine supports a variety of exercises targeting all muscles that act on the hip: quad, hamstrings, glutes, adductor, abductors and more! You'll find it near the inside railing on the Cardio (South) side of the fitness center. Feel free to ask a trainer for an overview of what this versatile piece of equipment can do for you!
