TODDLER MINIS:
Ages 3-4. This half hour class focuses on fun! Minis will use games and easy/beginner drills to develop the coordination and skills helpful in beginning to learn and love the lifelong game of tennis. Skills developed in this class will crossover to a variety of other sports and activities as a bonus!

TODDLER MIGHTIES:
Ages 4-5. This class is for experienced minis. Our focus begins to turn from coordination to technique. The mighties will use fun games and drills to learn some of the basic strokes including forehand, backhand, and volley. This class is a great prep for kids wanting to participate in outdoor classes in the future. All Toddler Tennis classes are held on the racquetball courts. Cost is $35 for PLF members.

BEGINNING BALLET/TAP:

This class focuses on introducing basic ballet and tap to your pre-schooler. In addition to an introduction to ballet and tap technique, we will introduce skills like listening, not talking out of turn, taking turns, and following the dancer of the day. This class will learn either a ballet or tap dance for the upcoming mini winter show.

BEGINNING BALLET: This class will introduce your dancer to the basic style and positions in ballet. We will work on form as well as technique in a fun, introductory learning environment.

TAP: The tap classes will be geared towards older dancers, however still focus on learning basic form and rhythm at an introductory level.

Cost is $100 per semester (16 weeks) for members, $150 for non-members.

BEGINNING BALLET/TAP:

This class focuses on introducing basic ballet and tap to your pre-schooler. In addition to an introduction to ballet and tap technique, we will introduce skills like listening, not talking out of turn, taking turns, and following the dancer of the day. This class will learn either a ballet or tap dance for the upcoming mini winter show.

BEGINNING BALLET: This class will introduce your dancer to the basic style and positions in ballet. We will work on form as well as technique in a fun, introductory learning environment.

TAP: The tap classes will be geared towards older dancers, however still focus on learning basic form and rhythm at an introductory level.

mouth and blow bubbles for at least 3 seconds and then safely exit the water. (Children can walk, move along the gutter or “swim.”)

lengths, roll to back and float on back for 3 seconds then recover to a vertical laying position.

Description

1. Jump into deep water from the side, recover to the surface,
maintain position by treading or floating 60 seconds, rotate one
full turn, then turn as necessary to orient to the exit point, level
off, swim front crawl and/or elementary backstroke for 25
yards, then exit the water.
2. Push off in a streamlined position, swim front crawl for 15
yards, change position and direction as necessary, swim
elementary backstroke for 15 yards, then exit the water. For members currently under a 24 month agreement lessons are free, otherwise there is a $80.00 fee for PLF members.

BEGINNING BALLET/TAP:

This class focuses on introducing basic ballet and tap to your pre-schooler. In addition to an introduction to ballet and tap technique, we will introduce skills like listening, not talking out of turn, taking turns, and following the dancer of the day. This class will learn either a ballet or tap dance for the upcoming mini winter show.

BEGINNING BALLET: This class will introduce your dancer to the basic style and positions in ballet. We will work on form as well as technique in a fun, introductory learning environment.

TAP: The tap classes will be geared towards older dancers, however still focus on learning basic form and rhythm at an introductory level.

Cost is $100 per semester (16 weeks) for members, $150 for non-members.

We will meet on Monday and Thursday from 6:30-7:30 PM and Saturday from 1-2 PM.(No practice on Labor Day) We will focus on stroke technique, flip turns, side starts, speed, and endurance. For children who have passed level 4 and up. Cost is $50 for members and $100 for non-members. There will be a swim meet held October 20th where we will swim against the Q st. team.
